Welcome to the game of Katie's life! In this game, you will experience what it is like to be in college while having a chronic illness. Not everything is exactly how it works in real life, but it's pretty close. Click on the dropdowns to learn how everything works.

Instructions

What does all the stuff on the screen mean?
On the top left of the screen, you'll find the day, time, and your current location. 5 seconds in real time = 5 minutes in game time.

To the right of that, you'll see your stats. You can't die in this game, but the worse your stats are, the less you can do. Obviously, keep the nausea, stomach pain, and heart rate down, the motivation up, and use as little energy as possible so you can get through the day.

The blue box on the right is your stat updates in real time, so you always know what and when things are changing.

In the bottom right, underneath the blue box, is your to-do list. You'll find your classes and doctor appointments there, as well as homework and other chores like laundry.

Finally, when this intro page disappears, you'll find your actions. Where you eat, when you do homework, how long you take a nap for... all of that is done in the center boxes.
How might I lose?

- Not finishing all homework by Sunday night

- Skipping more than one appointment
